This painting was inspired by Gargantua, the black hole in Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan (2014).
I was fascinated by the dramatic contrast between the deep darkness at its centre and the luminous ring of light that curves around it. In this work, I explore themes of infinity, gravity, and the unknown, capturing both the scientific precision and the emotional intensity of this powerful cosmic phenomenon.
