This painting was born from a magical summer night at La Scala, where I witnessed Swan Lake performed by étoiles Nicoletta Manni and Timofej Andrijashenko.
The image captures the ethereal glow of the final applause, a fleeting moment of beauty and reverence that lingered in my memory. Through sweeping brushstrokes and luminous colours, I sought to translate the emotion, movement, and delicate elegance of the dancers into a visual experience, a tribute to the artistry and enchantment of that unforgettable performance.
